all within 2 1/2 hours of Boise:

• Brownlee Reservoir has the best crappie fishing in the northwest.

• Oxbow Reservoir, just downstream, has catch & release fishing for trophy small mouth bass.

• Owyhee Reservoir has great crappie, small mouth or large mouth bass fishing.
